Good evening. This weekend we celebrate Pentecost where the Holy Spirit comes down upon the apostles and followers of Christ and the Catholic Church is established. This Monday we celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary being the Mother of the Church. Monday, May 27, Memorial Day, we will celebrate Mass at 9 am with Adoration starting at 8 am and Confessions at 8:30 am. There will be an endowment presentation on June 9 after the 10 am Mass in Rager Hall. The presentation will include how to set up an endowment and setting up one for a particular purpose. We pray for all those who are graduating from different levels in school. We also pray for all those who are sick in our parish. Thank you for all you do for our parish. May God bless your weekend.

Good evening. This weekend we celebrate the Ascension where Christ ascends to heaven preparing the way for the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Dominican Mass will be at 8 am at Sts Mary and John with Confessions before Mass this Sunday. We are asking for Parish Council nominees to replace three Members who have finished their terms. If you know of someone or you are interested in serving please contact the Parish Office by the end of May. We will have a Building and Grounds meeting on Thursday, May 16 at 6 pm. All are welcome. Creation Care Group is going to the Benedictine Sisters Monastery at Ferdinand Wednesday, May 22 for a talk on Pope Francis latest encyclical on creation and a new Cosmic walk along with fellowship and meal at St. Benedicts Brew Works. Transportation is provided contact Jenny Schmitt or the parish office for information or to signup. We are in need of help with light housekeeping in Rager Hall and the Ministry Center contact Kim at the office. We pray for all Mothers as this weekend we celebrate Mothers day and all they do for us. Thank you for all you do for our parish. May God bless your weekend.

Good evening. Jeremy Goebel, the Director of Youth and Young Adult ministry, will be here to give a presentation on the Unfathomable Mercy of God this Thursday at 6:30 pm in Church. A time for Confessions and Adoration will be offered. This coming weekend we celebrate the 6th Sunday of Easter where God commands us to love one another. There will be a second collection for alms and anointing of the sick after Mass this weekend. National Day of Prayer is this Thursday at noon at the Four Freedom Monument. There will be a CAJE meeting at St. Benedict in their Auditorium at 6:30 pm on Monday, May 6 in regards to the action items for the coming year. Thursday, May 16 at 6 pm there will be a Building and Grounds meeting in the Ministry Center. All are welcome. We pray for peace in the Middle East and in Ukraine and peace on our college campuses.
