Weekly Announcements

April 30, 2024 - 6:30pm
Good evening. Jeremy Goebel, the Director of Youth and Young Adult ministry, will be here to give a presentation on the Unfathomable Mercy of God this Thursday at 6:30 pm in Church. A time for Confessions and Adoration will be offered. This coming weekend we celebrate the 6th Sunday of Easter where God commands us to love one another. There will be a second collection for alms and anointing of the sick after Mass this weekend. National Day of Prayer is this Thursday at noon at the Four Freedom Monument. There will be a CAJE meeting at St. Benedict in their Auditorium at 6:30 pm on Monday, May 6 in regards to the action items for the coming year. Thursday, May 16 at 6 pm there will be a Building and Grounds meeting in the Ministry Center. All are welcome. We pray for peace in the Middle East and in Ukraine and peace on our college campuses. Good evening. This weekend we celebrate the Fifth Sunday in Easter where Jesus reminds us to remain in him so that we can bear much fruit. National Day of Prayer is May 2 at noon at the Four Freedoms monument along the Evansville Riverfront. You can join us for Mass at 12:05 with adoration starting at 11 am that day instead. Jeremy Goebel, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, will be here March 2 at 6:30 pm to give a presentation on the Unfathomable Mercy of God. There will be a CAJE action meeting Monday, May 6 at 6:30 pm at St. Benedict Auditorium. We pray for favorable weather for gardeners, farmers and all those impacted by the weather. Good evening. This weekend we celebrate the Fourth weekend of Easter where we hear about the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. Monday, April 22 from 6 to 9 pm in Rager Hall Creation Care group invites you to join them to watch the film Common Ground. It is a much anticipated sequel to Kiss Ground available on u-tube. Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 pm Jeremy Goebel will give a presentation on the unfathomable Mercy of God with Adoration and Confession available following the talk. As we celebrate Earth Day this Monday we pray that we will be good stewards of God's creation and so we also pray for favorable weather for farmers and gardeners Thank you for all you do for our parish.
