Youth Confirmation

 

CONFIRMATION ACROSS THE EVANSVILLE CATHOLIC DIOCESE
Over the next several years, starting in the fall of 2026, a period of transition will begin with the aim of reaching diocesan-wide conformity to the Confirmation age of 10 years old (5th grade) by the fall academic year of 2029.

Sts. Mary and John Parish will begin it’s 2026-2027 
Confirmation Classes in the Fall and Confirmation will take place in the early Spring.
The Confirmation program will be for those who will be entering 8th, 9th and 10th grades in the fall of 2026.

Parents
If you have a child who will be going into the 8th grade or older and needs to be Confirmed, please contact the parish office to register for classes. A parent meeting, more information and details on classes and expectations will be shared soon. Watch the bulletin. 812-425-1577
