Liturgical Season of Creation

CREATION CARE September 1st-October 4th
The weekend of September 1, the World Day of Prayer for Creation, begins a Liturgical Season set aside to celebrate God's gift to us of Creation.  It continues until October 4, the feast day of
St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology and animals.
In the spirit of renewal and responsibility, the theme for the 2024 Season of Creation resonates with a powerful call to action: “To hope and act with Creation.” As a parish, we hope each of you joins in some personal and communal way to celebrate and care for Creation!

OPPORTUNITIES... the weekend of August 31/September 1.  Those who have gardens or some other access to fruits and vegetables are invited to share these gifts with others.
