Join us for a road trip to Ferdinand

ROADTRIP!  YOU ARE INVITED!
Our parish Creation Care Group is going to the Benedictine Sisters' Monastery at Ferdinand and YOU are invited to join us… WEDNESDAY, MAY 22nd 
We Will DEPART at 3:30 pm (Evansville time) from Sts. Mary & John Parish Parking Lot, 613 Cherry St. Evansville, IN 
On Arrival at the Monastery: 
We will experience the newly completed Cosmic Walk; a reflective experience introducing us to the major events in the 14-billion-year evolution and history of the Universe and our Earth. 
Then, we will join Sr. Jean Marie in St. Gertrude Hall for a presentation about Pope Francis' follow up encyclical to “Laudato Si” entitled Laudate Deum (Praise God), which addresses how and why we should care for God's Creation, our Common Home. 
And Then We will continue sharing and socializing at St. Benedict’s Brew Works where we can enjoy dinner.  Perhaps you will want to enjoy their homemade root beer! We will RETURN to St. Mary & John's parking lot around 8:00pm (Evansville time)
