Father's weekly message

Good evening.  This weekend we celebrate the 17th weekend in Ordinary time where the kingdom of heave is compared to a fine pearl.  This weekend after the 10 am Mass on Sunday we will bless the newly renovated kitchen and we will show it off after the other weekend Masses also.  Thank you to all those who helped with renovation in any way.  The second collection for alms will be August 1 and 2, but the anointing of the sick will be moved a weekend later to Saturday, August 8 and Sunday August 9. August 7 the parish office will resume closing on Fridays at 4 pm.  The Parish Men's Group will meet Monday, August 10 at 5:30 pm in Rager Hall.  All men 18 and older are welcome.  We pray for the end the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.  We also pray for those who are dealing with illness.  We lift up in prayer Chuck Hirsch who recently died and his family.  Thank you for all do for our parish.  May God bless your weekend.
