Basic Catholic Course
Have you ever been in a conversation with a friend or relative about some aspect of the Catholic Faith, but were unable to confidently explain or defend the Church’s teachings?  We are offering a ten week course covering some of our basic Catholic beliefs.  All sessions will be on Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm in the Ministry Center.  The first five sessions will be held on April 27, May 4, 11, 18 & 25.  The second five sessions will be held on September 28, October 5, 12, 19 & 26.  This course will cover such topics as our belief in the Real Presence of the Eucharist; our teachings about Mary and Papal authority; why we Catholics have more books in our Bible; the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Purgatory, and much more.  If you would like the opportunity to increase your knowledge of our Catholic Faith please call the office and leave a message for Deacon Tom Kempf (ext. 206) or sign up on the sheet in the back of church.  There will be a charge of $15 to cover the cost of the material, which includes Beginning Apologetics 1: How to Explain and Defend the Catholic Faith, and the Study Guide for Beginning Apologetics 1.
