Good evening. This weekend we celebrate the 16th Sunday in Ordinary time where Jesus goes to the home of Martha and Mary. At the weekend Masses this weekend and until August 3 there will be sheets of paper in the pew to sign up to attend the Parish Picnic which will take place Saturday, September 20 after the 4 pm Mass. Please fill out and leave in the back of Church. Creation Care is scheduled to meet this Monday at 6 pm. Nominations for New Parish Council Members are being accepted now until July 21. If you have any questions or want to turn in a name please contact me or a Parish Council Representative. If you are interesting in attending the Right to Life banquet at the Old National Events Plaza Thursday, August 14 at 6 pm contact Jan Hoffman at 305-4075 or email at [email protected] The cost is $75 a person. We pray for those recovering from the affects of the flooding in Texas and those recovering surgery and other illness. Thank you for all do for our parish. May God bless your weekend.

Good evening. This weekend we celebrate the 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time where we are reminded to love God and our neighbor. Also this weekend we will welcome Fr. Patrick Bergin here from the Archdiocese of Tabora in Tanzania for our annual Mission COOP. Creation Care Group will meet on July 21 at 6 pm. If you know of a parishioner in good standing who might be willing to serve on the Parish Council, please contact myself or a parish council representative. Good evening. This weekend we celebrate the fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary time where we are reminded to work in the vineyard to bring many to Christ. July 4 Mass time will be at 9 am with Confessions at 8:30 am and Adoration starting at 8 am. The Parish and Food Pantry will be closed Friday but reopen on Monday at its normal times. This weekend we will have our second collection for alms and anointing of the sick after Mass. Just a reminder to save the date for Saturday, September 20 after 4 pm we will have our Parish Picnic. There will be a Parish Picnic planning meeting Wednesday, July 9 at 6 pm in the Ministry Center on the first floor. All are welcome. Building and Grounds will meet Thursday, July 10 at 6 pm. All are welcome. If any of you are having trouble with getting your pictures in the pictorial directory please contact Lee at the parish office. We pray in thanksgiving for all the freedoms that we enjoy in our country and those who have made this possible. We also pray for safety this weekend and for those affected by the heat.
