Weekly Announcements

November 20, 2025 - 6:30pm
Good evening. This Friday we celebrate the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the temple. This weekend we celebrate Christ King of the Universe. We will have Mass at 9 am on Thanksgiving Day with Adoration at 8 am and Confessions at 8:30. There will be no Mass on Friday, November 28. The food pantry and office will be closed on November 27 and 28. The office and food pantry will open at their normal times Monday, December 1. Christmas Memorial envelopes are in the back of Church. We pray for all those who will be traveling during Thanksgiving Holidays and for this to be a time of joyfully gathering. We also pray for all those who are sick and those struggling to make ends meet. Thank you for all you do for our parish. May God bless your weekend.

Good evening. This weekend we celebrate the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary time where Christ reminds us to persevere in our faith. This Sunday is World Day for the Poor. Congratulations to Pat Kerstiens are nominee for the Simon Brute award to honor those who show extraordinary examples of time, talent and treasure to their parish. Thanksgiving Mass will take place Thursday, November 27 at 9 am with Adoration starting at 8 am and Confessions at 8:15 pm. We pray for an end to the government shutdown and those affected by it. We also pray for the poor and homeless. Thank you for all you do for our parish. May God bless your weekend.
November 6, 2025 - 6:30pm
Good evening. This weekend we celebrate the feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica, which is honored as the episcopal seat of the Pope. We will have Coffee and Doughnuts after the 10 am Sunday Mass. The Parish Men's Group will meet Monday, November 10 at 5:30 pm in Rager Hall. All men 18 and older are welcome. CAJE will be having their Community Problems Assembly Monday, November 10 at Central United Methodist Church on Mary St. Different issues they are considering taking on is Mental Health, Transportation and Drug and Alcohol addiction. Anyone is welcome to attend to help decide which issue we will address. There will be a Building and Grounds meeting Thursday, November 13 at 6 pm. All are welcome. World Day of the Poor is Sunday, November 16. Creation Care will meet Monday, November 17 at 6 pm. We pray for all those affected by the government shutdown and those impacted by Hurricane Melissa in any way. Thank you for all you do for our parish. May God bless your weekend.
