During the 75th Diocese Anniversary year we celebrate 75 years of Christ at work in the Evansville Diocese; yesterday, today, forever. With the idea of living our faith every day a diocese-wide service project “The 75 Challenge” was chosen to reflect the love of Christ in our lives. Parishes, Groups, and Individuals were asked to choose their own challenge.
Sts. Mary and John Parish has chosen to collect 75 blankets.
The goal is to collect at least 75 blankets to distribute through our
St. Vincent de Paul Ministry to families in need.
Blankets are a necessity that we get many requests for
especially during the cold winter months.
How can YOU be a part of the ‘75 Challenge’ and show the Love of Christ to others?
DONATE A BLANKET TO SOMEONE IN NEED!!!
Beginning October 3-4 to Thanksgiving we are asking for donations of New Blankets. Blankets size to fit a twin or larger bed.
You can bring your donations to the church and drop in the boxes provided or bring them by the parish office.
We ask that you share your stories or pictures of collecting or donating your blankets to the diocese or parish Facebook page with the hashtag #DioEvv75 and via email to Lee Griggs at lgriggs@evdio.org to share in our bulletin.
