Thanksgiving Day Message from Fr. Benny
My sisters and brothers,
St. John Paul II said, “Remember the past with gratitude. Live the present with enthusiasm. Look forward to the future with confidence.” Thanksgiving Day is the
perfect time to remind ourselves how good God is and how regularly that goodness touches us through the kind deeds of others.
When I think of those who deserve gratitude in our parish, I realize there are too many to name. I’m thankful for a lot of things, but I’m most thankful for all of YOU! You have enriched our parish with your presence and service. I want to take this time of the year to express my appreciation for you.
I thank each one of you for your prayers, your time, your talents and your treasures. Your participation and generosity make our parish a vibrant and living community of faith. There have been times when I forgot to thank you for being there for me. I take this day to tell you how
special you are and how happy my life has been in this parish for the last one and a half years, because of you. Have a memorable THANKSGIVING!
Thank you and God bless!
