Dedicated to the performance of sacred music of varied religious traditions and historical periods, Angelus is completely unique among American high school vocal ensembles. Having modeled
themselves on the American quartet Anonymous 4 and the Irish ensemble Anuna, Angelus explores repertoire that is both historically and artistically significant yet quite suitable for younger voices; this repertoire includes medieval chant and polyphony, works from the American Sacred Harp tradition and contemporary Irish and American compositions.
